New plague in disguise.

Laughs.
So I've been observing people in campus. And well, not all of them have this, but more and more guys are starting to get into the fashion of MOHAWK.

So a little about Mohawks for those who don't know what it is.
Mohawk; also known as "Mohican" in Commonwealth English is a hairstyle.
You can easily spot on from far as their distinct look is that both sides of the head are shaved, and leaving a VERY noticeable longer streak of hair in the center.
Some have categorized this fashion as a 'punk subculture', this started in the early 1980s.
Now, this hairdo is still associated with punksters. (:

So here's a picture of how it looks like.

Ain't he a hottie. Giggles.
Does look punky (:
Well there are lots of varieties of hawks.
-Bi-hawk or Tri-hawk; having 2 or 3 parallel, smaller mohawks.
-CrossHawk; sideways.
-Curl-Hawk; has long thin curls, similar to fauxhawk.
-Fauxhawk; a "fake" mohawk, without shaving sides of the head.
-Deathhawk; voluminous teased hair, common in deathrock/gothic subcultures.
-Dreadhawk; a dreadlocked mohawk.
-Frohawk; occasionally seen on African American punks, eg: rapper Mr T.
-Psychobilly Mohawk
-Nohawk
-Rayhawk
-Shark Fin
-Liberty-spike Mohawk

and well... the list continues...

Here's a fauxhawk.
Notice the sides aren't shaved, but braided in such that makes the center part volumised and looks as if it's a mohawk.

Honestly, this kinda looks pretty awesome!
I wish I could fix my hair as such.
But obviously I would need help doing this. Laughs.
Need some expertise's help!
TeeHee!

So anyways, I guess these are back in fashion as they spread as a plague, and everywhere I go in small little Kampar, there is a punkster about. Laughs. (:
But it's an awesome hairdo.
Hope to see some deathhawks or liberty-spike mohawks (:

Cheers!
